The document explains a court case between Daniel Wilson, plaintiff; and James McCauley, defendant. Wilson and his attorney Walter Patterson brought the plea of trespass against McCauley, who failed to fulfill the terms of a promissary note, and was therefore indebted to Wilson. The court orders McCauley to restore to Wilson the appropriate sum of money.
