At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

Swart writes that Mr. Robison just died, and left a considerable amount of back rents yet to be paid. He explains that Robison's son expressed interest in occupying his late father's farm, and Swart desires Henry to instruct him on how to manage the back rents. Docketed on address leaf.
