. . . Representatives of the five Nations of the Sinnias in the Fort att New York" The Governor of Virginia reprimands the 5 Nations for breaking their covenant and committing crimes in Virginia. He explains that Governor Dongan has convinced him to forgo declaring war upon them, but notes that he expects satisfaction upon conclusion of the war with the French. In their response, the 5 Nations thank Lord Effingham for his forgiveness, and promise to rectify the situation.
