Brockholes writes that he has ordered a strict inquiry to be made among all the northern Indians in order to discover who participated in the attacks upon white settlers in Maryland and Virginia. He notes that the Mohawks and Senecas claim innocence, and have been extremely helpful with the investigation; and invites the Maryland agents to Albany in order to conduct the investigation themselves.
