J. Henry Flitner writes to his sister about being stuck with their father Z. Flitner, in Mobile Bay, Alabama with 50 or 60 other ships that were waiting to unload and sell their cargo. Flitner notes that while the weather has been poor, he is still in high spirts and really enjoys life onboard the ship working as a merchant with their father.
