Discusses the financial problems of Broome and Platt. Notes his financial embarrassment after receiving Shaw's report about the state of Broome and Platt. Determines to take goods instead of payment from the company, but is unsure of what to do about the bill that is still owed to a firm in London. Watermarked "I Taylor."
