Directed to "Gentlemen," a committee including General Henry Knox chosen to present the regiment's grievances to Congress. Address directed to Colonel [John] Greaton. Tisdale and J. Sumner present grievances such as a lack of future security in payment, deprivation of monthly pay, and a lack of settlement regarding detained rations, among other complaints.
