Signed by "d'Aboville," Colonel Francois Marie, comte de Aboville. Also signed by Gau as commissary of artillery and by Nadal as director of the artillery park. A third signature is illegible. Docket, in Samuel Shaw's hand, indicates, "Ordnance stores with the French Army at Newport. 28 Jany 1781." This is an English-language copy of GLC02437.10016.
