Thanks Henry Knox for his attentions and informs him that "he will with the greatest pleasure stand Sponsor to [his] Son and attend the Ceremony to morrow [sic] Evening." Noted as written by the Minister of France, who at this time is most likely Edmond Charles Édouard Genêt, more commonly known as Citizen Genêt.
