Writes that per Knox's request, he has asked Mr. [Edward H.] Robbins for advice about paying taxes on the Waldo patent lands, and Mr. Robbins suggests that they "rest quiet" until payment is demanded. Provides other advice from Mr. Robbins. Also discusses Mr. [William] Wetmore's claims on the lands, as well as dealings with Captain Hall and Captain Stone.
