Continues to discuss a land negotiation [appears to be part of the Muscongus patent lands in Maine] between Henry Knox and himself. Informs Knox of other heirs from the Cook Line and says he will only quit claim his and his mother's portion of the land and half of his brother's. Also agrees to prolong the payment date. Written from Haverhill which is possibly located in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Maine.
