Discusses the progress of the surveying. Notes Mr. [John?] Gleason and his party will be with [George?] Ulmer on Monday. Also mentions Thomas and Major [Benjamin?] Bracket will be assembling the people on Monday to explain the surveying and to try to obtain men to accompany the surveyors. Addressor name is not listed. Based on the content of the letter it is possible the addressor is Henry Knox, however, the letter is not in Henry Knox's handwriting. Docket notes the letter was written to George Ulmer.
