Informs Head he made the necessary arrangements to his regiment. Mentions he can produce 250 men on a short notice. Expresses his desire to have the business with the insurgents in the back settlement (likely part of the Waldo patent) taken care of as quickly as possible. A portion of the letter, including Knox's signature, is missing. Date was taken from the docket, which is in Knox's hand.
