States he is happy to hear that Knox and Mrs. [Sarah Lyons] Flucker arrived safely. Informs Knox about a captain who just returned from a 42 day passage from London. Notes his ship, along with all of the other fall ships, is full of goods. Writes, "[it] looks like peace with that Country." Discusses a business transaction with another gentleman involving a settlement. Also mentions he has received the bands from Samuel Winslow.
