Legal agreement for Knox to rent the farm of Henry Gurney for three years. A man named Oliver Pollock was the previous tenant. The farm was situated north of Chestnut Street between Fourth and Fifth Streets. The rent was 300 pounds of Pennsylvania currency per year. Knox is also responsible for the taxes. Document witnessed and signed by Thomas Biddle and Clement Biddle.
