In the hand of Samuel Shaw, Knox's aide-de-camp but endorsed and signed by Assistant Clothier General David Brooks. A document certifying that General Knox has accounted for articles of clothing received for the Corps of Artillery from December 1776 to July 1783 (though the date of the last clothing entry is November 1778).
