Written in the hand of Shaw, Henry Knox's aide-de-camp. Created at an artillery park at or near New Windsor, where Knox was located in June 1781. The post at Fredericksburgh, New York, has been discontinued with respect to ordnance. Captain Post, who was in charge at Fredericksburgh, is honorably discharged. Shaw attests that Post is entitled to his pay.
