Discusses providing a letter and other support for Reverend Cushing's son to work for their "Kinsman Nat. Cotton" in England. He writes that "We are all filled with Joy at the Unexpected News of the Conquest of Canada," referring to the British victory at the Battle of Quebec during the French and Indian War in September 1759.
