Concerns the cession of Cow Creek lands in the Oregon Territory and the remuneration they will receive. Authorized by President Franklin Pierce. Treaty arranged by Joel Palmer, Oregon Superintendent of Indian Affairs on the part of the United States, and the leaders of the Cow Creek Indians on 19 September 1853 (and ratified on 5 February 1855).
