Detailed map of the Battle of Manassas (Bull Run) showing roads, topographical features, troop positions, batteries, bridges, and railroads. Also has a legend of "Explanations." Pictures the battle field to the north of Manassas, with the Bull Run extending from the bottom left to the upper right. Inset on the lower right shows the region between Washington, D.C. and Fredericksburg, with Bull Run and Manassas in between. Lithographed by F. W. Bornemann in Charleston of South Carolina and published by W. Hargrave White in Richmond, Virginia. Captain Mitchell was a member of the 1st Virginia Regiment. Backed with cloth.
