States that he is just back from Berlin and Prague. Discusses some family and friends. Writes that politicians are trying to get him to accept a job in Washington or with the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration to whom he responds, "I just want to be a one-mule farmer in Virginia or Georgia or Tennessee. But my desires are nothing - at least to no one else." Informs that he had lunch with their son John. Mentions that there is no new information on Marshall Zhukov. Postscript states he is sending her birthday present soon. Envelope is addressed to Mamie in Washington, D.C. Marked censored by Einsenhower.
