Circa date is based on the year the dispute took place. Jackson (possibly Henry Jackson of Massachusetts) and Tudor, acting as agents for separate companies, made offers for the same parcel of land to the Eastern Committee for Lands. A competition for the lands ensued after Jackson accused Tudor of driving up the land price. Presents details of the case.
