Lincoln allows three sisters and one brother, Sallie, Juliana, Eliza, and Dabney Overton to pass through the federal lines and go to their relative Grant Green in Henderson, Kentucky. Endorsement written diagonally over the pass states "Rec'd Vienna, Va., March 9 /65, Jno E. Wilford, Lt Col & US agent for Lex."
