One newspaper clipping sent by Frank B. White to L. Jean White dated October 9, 1944. Included in a letter (GLC09855.01).) The clipping concerns a soldier who has not been receiving pay and has had his allotments to his mother and son cut off. Yank explains that it is due to overpayment and multiple allotments sent to the same people. At the time of the article the soldier still owed $1,292.
