One letter from James M. Parsons to Congressman Carlos J. Moorhead dated July 28, 1974. Parsons supports the impeachment of President Nixon and writes, "Your actions in defence of the President seem to be quite at variance with your earlier statements regarding law and order. Unless your subsequent votes in the impeachment issue shows that you really practice what you preach, I, for one, plan to vote for your Democratic Party opponent next November!"
