One letter from L.A. Larson to Congressman Carlos J. Moorhead dated December 24, 1973. Larson is against the impeachment of President Nixon. He espouses frustration at the political system for taking advantage of Nixon and ostracizing him and writes, "Now I see more clearly that it is pure "Democratic McCarthyism" - i.e. tapes at parties, tax decisions, and court judgments down purely political lines, and daily, wild persecutions."
