One letter from Mary Gjerde to Congressman Carlos J. Moorhead dated November 6, 1973. Gjerde supports the impeachment of President Nixon and writes, "What is in doubt is the restoration of our system of government. Surely, if Presidential corruption is permitted--and excused--then it stands to reason that this corruption will spread and infect every part of our society. And this society, and its values, won't survive."
