One letter from Leonard Eugene Graeff to Susan Prowell Graeff and Raymond James Graeff dated April 25, 1945. He is enclosing photos of him and Russell Brady around Hawaii and mentions that he will send more when he can get a camera and film. He also sends a picture of the inside of the chapel. The electric was off at the barracks the past night for repair work but he managed to reply to Bertha Hutton before they turned it off. He still has to write Dottie Erickson and Doris Bixler. He is grateful for the photos his parents sent of the family. He was surprised that Russell's wife Jeanne called them first he thought they would receive the letter faster than she did. He thanks them for taking care of his bonds. He also mentions that 2,000 radios have been bought so far and servicemen have been lining up to buy them.

The copyright law of the United States (title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use,” that user may be liable for copyright infringement. This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
