Augsberger reports that he received more letters from Ardena and tells her how happy this makes him. He also says he is glad to hear that Ardena and his mom are getting along well. He writes that "There is just one more thing I want you to do for me. But we'll talk about it when I get back." Augsberger hopes Ardena understands why he cannot write like he used to. He tells her that when he returns they can start their life anew. He sends his love and closes the letter.
