Joe asks Sylvia how it feels to be back in New York. He writes that Moe is sergeant now so he doesn't have any real work. He refers to a time when she was visiting and Moe was on K.P, so he kept her company in the service club. He mentions one of his friends joked about him having a nice time with Moe Weiner's wife.
