At the Institute’s core is the Gilder Lehrman Collection, one of the great archives in American history. More than 85,000 items cover five hundred years of American history, from Columbus’s 1493 letter describing the New World through the end of the twentieth century.

Does not have time to write much, but is very healthy. Thinks she should sell one of the pigs if she can fatten one up enough by next fall. She should try to "get all you can for it." She must tell him how much she can sell the pig for and how much it weighs. Reminds her to send some pills and plow the fields.
