Published by the War Department and printed by the Government Printing Office. Orders are for 1869, the same year it was published. Contains 35 page index of names and subjects at the front of the book. Spine says "C.Q.M.O. Dept. Platte. Alex J. Perry." Orders No. 1-86 for the year are printed; several are very long.
