Rejoinder to a senate report that investigated Andrew Jackson's justification for taking possession of Pensacola and St. Marks in Florida during the first Seminole War and deemed it "against the laws and constitution of his country." Jackson argues that the assessment is "unsound and erroneous" and seeks to vindication. Publishes various items of correspondence from the first Seminole War to justify his behavior.
