Bryan writes, "I brought the subject of the decree in Washburn v. Washburn before the Court - The Ch: Just: [Chief Justice] says that the Jeffs[?] have a right to sell the Negroes under the decree in as much as they are to be delivered to them & they can do as they please with them."
