Image of the pumphouse and the hill behind it. The photo appears to have been taken from an elevated position. Water or steam shoots out of spouts at the top and bottom of the pumphouse. A man can be seen standing on an uncompleted platform next to the elevated structure. Camp Nelson was a recruiting and training station for Federal soldiers during the war.
