I write just a line to send by a Capt. who goes over to the city to night that I may not miss the tomorrow mail. I am very well & very busy every moment is occupied. The box did not come by the express last week as I expected. I shall look for it at the next arrival. I get along very pleasantly with my Co. but am studying harder than I have before for a long time. I am so deficient in the "Tactics" I make a good many blunders at Battalion Drills particularly as I have to command a Division that is 2 companies. we get fresh bread served to us must close
