Marked as a "Duplicate" (of GLC03432.02). Discusses accounts related to military stores at the Armory in Springfield, Massachusetts, both payments and orders. Says he has not seen [Samuel] Hodgdon and therefore does not know the amount to pay some of the officers. Authorizes Bryant to appropriate funds for himself on accounts equal to one month's pay. Written from the War Office. Free frank signed by Knox, stamped "Free" and "Public service" written on address leaf.
