Writes that he got Knox's letter, and that his finances are in order, so Knox does not need to worry about him if he does not get the discount. Randall will be able to pay him back either way. Explains briefly what income he will be receiving and what discounts he might receive, and shows how he and Mr. [Samuel] Shaw will have no trouble raising the money.
