Promises to look into Wetmore's claim fairly, and has written to Mr. Winslow (likely one of Lucy Knox's cousins) regarding the inquiry. The claim relates to Wetmore retaining administration of the estate of "the Brigadier," Samuel Waldo. Knox has written to England to obtain certain papers that will clarify claims on the Waldo land.
