Colonel Scammon of the 1st Provisional brigade appoints a board of survey consisting of Lieutenants from the 12th Ohio volunteer infantry, John Lewis, James W. Ross, and Hiram McKay to examine a deficiency in clothing and commissary stores damaged or unfit for use for which Acting Assistant Quarter Master Lieutenant Jonathan C. Wallace was responsible.
