Colonel Wingate informs Stevens that he has sent him the Governor's Warrant and prays Stevens will protect the frontiers, as ordered. Indicates that he has sent Stevens seven soldiers from Hampton, Massachusetts, ready "to march to Cantrebery," and asks Stevens to find three more.
