Wire transfer information states she was injured during a riot in Harlem, described as a "debris-and-missile-throwing melee." Riots took place after the fatal shooting of James Powell, a Black teenager, by a white off-duty police officer Thomas Gilligan. Rioters used bottles, clubs, bricks and Molotov cocktails against 300 policemen. Text indicates that the picture should not be used within 60 miles of New York City.
