Says he will do everything he can for the boy. He would like Waite to send his son a copy of "Boyers French Dictionary." Sends compliments to General Preble, saying Preble's son is doing well.

Lists costs associated with regiment led by General William Gansell and General Thomas Gage, accumulated during a 94 day period between December 25, 1764 and March 28, 1765. Lists all members of the regiment, including a chaplain and servants, and notes allowances to widows and "to the Colonel for Cloathing lost by Deserters." Mentions an "Independent Company on Foot" led by Lieutenant Colonal Matthew Pierson, and two more companies commanded by Captain Francis McMillan and Captain Archibald Blane.
