Smith and Sears (see GLC02437.02229) that they received William's shipment, but that they have had a hard time selling the goods. Hopes William arrives in America soon as he wants his advice on purchasing property. Says New York will be given back to the Americans in six weeks and believes the remainder of the army will then be disbanded.
