Letter is not signed but appears to be in Knox handwriting. Discusses the ongoing conflict with the settlers on the north part of the Waldo patent. Describes the issues of the conflict and the danger the surveyors are in. Requests the gentlemen show and explain the legal title of Brigadier Waldo and the heirs of that title to the settlers. Explains how the title and map will show who the land legally belongs too. Requests they also explain and show how Knox's lands are separate from the Plymouth Company lands, and that they have been surveyed and delivered by the Commonwealth to Knox.

Writes to Knox regarding the legal troubles he is having. Appears a suit has been brought against Bingham by Caboth and others for the recovery of cargo during the last war (Revolutionary War). Complains of "vile misrepresentations" and "prejudices" being made during the trial. Also says his testimony could explain the nature of the transactions and justify Bingham's conduct but it has been rejected. Notes it has been hinted that a "judgment obtained in the Supreme Court of Massachusetts might be levied on my [Bingham's] land in Maine." Encloses (not included) a statement about the case and…

Document is not signed but appears to be in Knox's handwriting. Appears to be information that Knox gathered from a Captain Hunter respecting Thomas's (possibly Walterman Thomas) information. It was reported the insurgent threaten to kill the settlers if they went out again. Also was reported that the settlers on the Plymouth Company lands stated they were willing to give a dollar for their lands and were encouraging Knox's settlers to do the same.

A sworn statement by Martin Brooks attesting that Caleb Brooks paid him $300 for a "grant Bargain" and the sell of over 85 acres of land in Ducktrap, Maine. There is also a note at the bottom of the letter from George Ulmer.

Document is not signed but appears to be in Knox's handwriting. A rough outline regarding the Germans' land claims on the west side of Broad Bay (Waldoboro, Maine). Discusses land deals and legal obligations involving Henry Knox, Brigadier Samuel Waldo, Waldo heirs, and the Germans on the Waldo patent lands. First two pages are written on the verso of an unsigned printed deed of Henry Knox. Title and date was taken from docket. The letter is signed by William Bradford. James D[illegible] signed as a witness and Joseph Rawson signed as a witness and Justice of Peace. William Bradford appoints Henry Knox to be his "true and lawful" attorney (Power of Attorney). Appears that the legal agreement is particularly pertaining to land in Penobscot [County?], Maine. There is a note from Joseph Rawson at the bottom of the letter certifying the agreement.
