Preceded by a copy of a letter from 19 April 1741, in which Charles Mayne & Co. ask Robert, Jr. not to purchase any wheat on their account, but to buy flour instead. In the letter from 28 May 1741, they write that they have heard of the prohibition put of Robert, Jr.'s trade, and also give the prices of wheat and flour at various locations in Europe and the colonies. Title: Affidavit regarding letters to Josias Loomes

In the affidavit, Robert Livingston, Jr. states that the two preceding letters addressed to Josias Loomes are true copies of the originals, and were delivered to Josias Loomes. The first letter is dated 17 January 1752, and instructs Loomes to remove himself from Robert, Jr.'s land, as he has caused a great deal of trouble and mischief. The second letter is dated 4 February 1752, and gives a severe warning to Loomes that he will be ejected and arrested if he does not remove himself from the Manor.
