Title: to Robert Livingston, Jr. re: clearing a debt
Wolcott explains that he is nearly destitute, and only has one cow and heffer, which do not officially belong to him. He therefore can not use them to clear a debt with Robert, Jr., and asks if some other means of payment could be found. He further explains: "I have met with so many Losses and Disopointments that I Cannot be honest which is my greaf for I Ever Did and Do Still Entend honestly." Docketed on address leaf.
