Signed in print by Williams as President and J.S. Gilliam, Jr. as Secretary. Williams and Gilliam were members of the Ninth Virginia Infantry, Stewart's Brigade, Pickett's Division. Resolution sent to the Confederate House of Representatives. It was ordered to be printed on 30 January 1865. Says they are from Eastern Virginia and that their homes have been desolated and families oppressed and that they will not give up fighting. Five items are resolved.
