Contains statements and correspondence from John Forsyth (Secretary of State 1834-1841), William S. Holabird (District Attorney for the State of Connecticut during the Amistad case), A. Calderon de la Barca (envoy extraordinary and minister plenipotentiary of Spain) and various others involved in the Amistad case.
