In his absence, Tayloe authorizes Lomax, his attorney, to act as a trustee of the estate of the deceased Ralph Wormeley. As trustees, Tayloe and Lomax transfer a parcel of Wormeley's land to Samuel Layre, who bought the land in a private sale. Document is frayed along the edges, resulting in some text loss.
